Andrea Chevalier

Andrea has been with ICA since 1996. After graduate training, she spent nine years interning and working as a paintings conservator at several museums in Germany. While in Germany, she also gained experience working on polychrome and monochrome wood sculpture from the Medieval to Baroque periods. Andrea has given numerous talks and workshops on traditional painting materials, the history of conservation and specific conservation projects. Additionally, she has extensive experience working on large format murals including their deinstallation, treatment, and reinstallation.
